Forever and Ever, I Do

Together we stand
Honoring God’s Holy plan
One is what we will be
From now until eternity
We seal this bond and vow our trust
Nothing will come between us.
I say these words to you
Knowing this love is true
Forever and ever, I do.
I give you my heart and my soul
To have and to hold.
With this ring, I promise you
Forever and ever I do.
I will never leave or forsake you.
I’ll cleave only to you.
From this day forward, until the end of time
I want you to be mine.
I give you my heart
I promise we will never part
I want you as my wife.
I give you my love, my life
I say these words to you
Knowing our love is true.
This is my promise to you
Forever and ever, I do.
We seal these vows
And bond this trust
Nothing will come between us.
With all my heart I promise you
Forever and ever I do

Final Independence Day Post

Today is a day to celebrate and appreciate the freedoms we enjoy as American citizens.   We should never take those freedoms for granted, because they were obtained by the blood, sweat and tears of those who went before us.   Some of our ancestors never got to enjoy those freedoms.

If we are going to have peace on the planet, we can't take one another for granted.  For only with a true love and respect that emanates from our heart will we become one, mind, one body, one spirit.  We have been shown the path to take, but we continue to give place to hate.   We have to start living with a spirit of gratitude that reflects the honor our forefathers deserve.   Anything less than our best would be an affront to those that provided us with the key to a legacy of peace and hope.

God Bless America...Our home sweet home.

America is not my home alone, it is not yours alone.  It is our home.
God Bless America, our home sweet home!

Happy Independence Day

Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

If we deem ourselves worthy to judge another and place blame,
we must be ready to examine ourselves the same.
