It isn’t easy being thirteen,
Somewhere between here and there
Not really fitting in anywhere.
It’s not unusual to feel that way.
Those feelings will soon go away.
In time, you will discover who you are.
Then you will know
Which way to go
In the meantime be unique.
The world has much to offer to those who seek
You've got to be willing to find your own way.
Find a course and stay
You will come into your own
Before you know it, you’ll be grown.
While you are young, explore the horizons of the unknown
The years will soon have come and gone.
You’ll soon be confronted with life’s challenges and
demands,
So enjoy the time at hand.
